The problem seems to be that the audio chip set (Cirrus Logic 4206B (AB28)) isn't detected by Windows 10 (even 8.1) when booted in EFI mode. driver update for Cirrus Logic CS8409 (AB 54), Windows 10 and later. I saw on "device manager" that the "Hight Definition audio codec" is installed, but badly. I had installed the latest Bootcamp (Drivers) on Windows 10. Everything works well, but I don't have audio. I recently instaled Windows 10 with Bootcamp on the Hard Disk. So, you are, the apple community, my last chance.įirst of all : I give you my set up, that will be usefull. Just make sure to uninstall the driver and in doing so delete the files too (there's a checkbox in vista). If you get it working, I recommend you reply here and state exactly what it was that got it working for you. Or maybe these two sources drivers' are the same - and I did just get it from the cirrus site ?

I installed the realtek audio drivers off the Mac OS X cd, but I suspect that wasn't it. I suspect it worked because I had earlier installed other drivers, which it then defaulted to. I uninstalled the driver, and clicked the checkbox when uninstalling the driver to delete the files. I solved this on my laptop just now, but not quite sure how.
